About Neighbourhood Energy

Neighbourhood Energy offers customers competitive electricity rates, accredited GreenPower and the opportunity to support their community.

Customers receive a 10% pay-on-time discount, which they can donate to a charity or community group  participating in our Community Partner Program. The Program was developed to enable customers to make a tangible contribution to their community.  Neighbourhood Energy is a registered fundraiser under the Victorian Government’s Fundraising Appeal Act.  All of the donated money is passed on to the Community Partner, and we do not charge an administration fee for processing these donations.

Neighbourhood Energy is committed to a sustainable future. Because we know that consumers value clean energy choices, we offer customers GreenLight 100% Accredited GreenPower. 

Neighbourhood Energy is an Australian owned company, based in Elsternwick Victoria.  The Essential Services Commission of Victoria granted a retail licence to Neighbourhood Energy in 2006.  Neighbourhood Energy Pty Limited (ACN 109 118 578) is a registered company under the Corporations Act 2001 and is registered in Australia.  We currently sell electricity to Victorian residential and business customers and we hope to offer our products and services to customers in other states in the future.
